We ensure our procedures meet the Australian Standard for OHS management systems AS2601-2001, and O.H.S regulations and do not carry out any demolition works until our measures have been inspected and approved by the relevant building surveyor.
Rapid Demolition Group also has a strong focus on recycling. We endeavor to recycle, reclaim and salvage for each and every project we take on. We recycle materials such as concrete, metal, bricks, timber as well as green waste. This means that we are able divert much waste from landfills.
We specialize in the removal of hazardous materials and can safely deal with asbestos and contaminated soil. Containment and prevention to the exposure of hazards and risks is critical in our work. We engage independent specialists to assess sites prior to commencing demolition works.
Our Safety Measures
Demolition work is always carefully planned before work starts so it can be carried out safely. Planning involves identifying hazards, assessing risks and determining appropriate control measures in consultation with all relevant persons involved in the work, including the principal contractor, demolition contractor, structural engineers and mobile plant operators.
We have developed a COVID-19 Safe plan (as per guidelines for the Building & Construction Industry)
We devise & supply Protection Measures where required for adjoining neighbours boundaries
